Family is interesting. Some members you are really close to. Some you don't want to even admit you are related to. Every family has their troubles. They have stories we don't want everyone to know about.

We have heated arguments. We say things we don't mean. We say things we do but wish we hadn't. We have to grow and forgive and let things go.

We don't know what goes on inside every family. That is the case of a missing man in Amarillo. His name is Gregory Francis Pratillo. His family, more importantly, his mom turned to the Amarillo Police this week for some help.

She had lost touch with her son about eight or nine years ago and wanted help trying to locate him. Now there are people asking why it's taken so long. There can be so many reasons. Maybe they had a falling out. Maybe she now needs to get in touch with him because of some family news he needs to know.

It doesn't matter. Regardless this is someone who was last here in Amarillo. He may still be here. He may not be.

The Amarillo Police Department decided to post about Mr. Pratillo. Social Media is such a powerful way to get news of a missing person out there.

All we know for sure is that he was in Amarillo back in 2015. The last time he had contact with the Amarillo Police. Has he left the area? Is he still here? Regardless it would be nice for this family to find each other again.

If you have any information on where Gregory Francis Pratillo could be contact the Amarillo Police Department at 806-378-3038, option 2.
