Amarillo’s Clear Sign That We Are Going to Be Home to This Store

Sometimes waiting is the hardest part in Amarillo, right? We find out about a new place opening in our city. We get all excited. Then we hurry up and wait. Then it seems we wait some more. We even start to doubt that this business is actually coming to town.

That is what happened when we got the word about HomeGoods in Amarillo. The rumors that we were getting one in Amarillo started last September. The hopes were high. The need is real. Then we just had to wait.

People did start to go to social media to question if this was even going to happen. We have very little patience. Stuff like this takes time. I get it that the wait is the worst when we have gone for so long without.

Then there was some stuff happening in the building. There was some movement. Was this really going to happen? Then the most important of important happened over the weekend.

For those who have ever doubted the likelihood of HomeGoods coming to our area. The signs all point to yes.

That sign speaks volumes and is spot on. Our new happy place. If you haven't shopped at HomeGoods I have high hopes for this one. This is one of the places we have needed here to get our home decorations and supplies. They have everything.

At least the wait is for nothing. For those doubters, it is really happening. HomeGoods will be here before you know it.
