As we are getting close to the end of the year, we hear about all of the places opening up in Amarillo. The rush of things getting done before the end of the year. It's nice for us to get new places.

When Did Chipotle Open in West Amarillo?

Since then, we have just been waiting. Next, the word came that they were hiring. We all know what happens once hiring starts. Yep, the next step is training with the hopes of eventually opening.

The Chipotle location on Georgia Street seems to always be busy, so this new location is definitely welcomed. A second Chipotle in Amarillo, on the other side of town, will spread out some of the business. Maybe.

Why Amarillo Needed a Second Chipotle

We are about to find out how this new location is going to be welcomed on Coulter Street. That once Arby's location is now a Chipotle, and they are open. They announced it recently in a social media video.

What to Expect at the New Location

The wait is over. Coulter Street has a new neighbor. A new place to build your own burrito and bowls. And honestly, this is great news for West Amarillo. More food options are always a win, especially when it’s something people already love.

The Timing Couldn’t Be Better

With the holidays coming up and everyone running around shopping, having a second Chipotle nearby makes grabbing a quick bite even easier. It’ll be interesting to see if this location becomes as popular as the Georgia store, and knowing Amarillo’s love for burritos, it probably won’t take long.
