Check Out What’s Happening At Hodgetown This Season!
Baseball…is…back in Amarillo, and I promise you won’t find anyone more excited about this than me. There will be a couple of changes this season along with the return of some beloved programs and contests, so allow me to get you caught up on everything Sod Poodles!
Concessions delivered to your seat
Ok, can I just say this is the greatest thing to ever happen at a ballpark? Without fail, I miss a key part of the game while waiting in line for a hot dog or frosty cold beverage. Not anymore. Thanks to a partnership with StadiumDrop, food and drinks are set to be delivered directly to your seats, along with contactless payment. Another thing that's offered are “DropZone” areas that allow you to order ahead and skip the line. Oooooh yeah, this baseball season is gonna be the best one yet.
Sod Pups Club
The hands down greatest deal on the planet resides here in the Sod Pups Club. For just $25, the kiddos will land TEN ticket vouchers to Sod Poodles games, a t-shirt & backpack, a membership card personalized for them as well as access to a kid’s club party and more! Just sign the kids up now and don’t look back.
Red Dirt Rivalry
Like college baseball? Check this out: On April 20th, Texas Tech will play host to the Oklahoma Sooners in the first ever Red Dirt Rivalry. Some Big 12 baseball before the Sod Poodles take to the field? Yeah, count me in. Limited tickets are remaining, so scoop 'em quick.
Return of Sod Squad
If you didn’t get a chance to catch the Amarillo Sod Squad in action last year, you’re in luck as the boys are back! The Texas Collegiate League returns to HODGETOWN on May 28th as the Sod Squad looks to defend their division title in the collegiate wood bat league. Season tickets are available right now for you diehards with individual tickets going on sale any day now.
Koe Wetzel
It wasn’t just live sports we missed, how about live music? Well, it’s back at Hodgetown and better than ever. In fact, on May 1, Koe Wetzel will take the field to jam out. You can snag tickets starting at $25 right now, but they’ll go quick thanks to limited capacity. Don't miss out, my friend.
With so much happening at Hodgetown in 2021, it’s safe to say if I’m not out at my kids baseball tourneys, I’ll be right here at the stadium, taking in everything we missed out on last year!
