Water Woes: From Outrageous Bills to Dying Grass

Then we have the issues with the parks and the bathrooms being locked down. Speaking of parks, if you have been to any of our parks lately, you'll notice they aren't green and lush. They are somewhat brown. That probably has a lot to do with the parks not getting the water they need, and since rain has been hard to come by lately, they're struggling to stay alive.

Someone recently posted a video showing our city parks back in the day, and what they look like now.  A user going by Yellow Rose of Texas posted the video on May 27, 2026. The video says the current pictures were taken recently in 2026, while the previous pictures were from years past.

See for yourself.

The changes are shocking to say the least. One can only hope something will be done soon before our parks look like a dust pit.
