Last Chance to Make This Amarillo Team Coming Up

It's been a long couple of years without the Amarillo Venom in Amarillo. Sure we still had the Amarillo Sod Poodles. We had the Amarillo Wranglers to support. So we had baseball and hockey covered.

We just were missing out on the arena football we have come to know and love. That all changed with the announcement earlier this year that the Amarillo Venom was coming back. The news we had been longing for. The year 2024 was going to be our year.

We are going to be able to fill the seats of the Amarillo Civic Center and cheer for our favorites very soon. Oh, but first they are working on getting a team together. That is a big part. Get the team and then start training. The season will be here before you know it.

They have held some tryouts already. We, though, are at crunch time. There is one more chance to make the team. So if playing in front of your hometown crowd has been your dream you still have a chance.

Get through the holidays and prepare for one last tryout in January.

This is a great opportunity to be apart of this great franchise as they start over again. The excitement has never died down. We can't wait to be a three-sport town again and have our Venom back to cheer on.
