Amarillo’s Newest Place is Going to Leave Us All a Bit Sticky

I love keeping up with things happening in our great city of Amarillo. Sometimes I find them myself just by driving around. Sometimes I get a little bit of help. I got a text the other day from a friend.

She just sent me a photo and asked if I had seen this new place. I had not. I was interested though. So I started looking into it. The place is called Sticky Chikky. It's located at 8700 Clinton Glenn Road (2219 & Soncy) just down from the newest Grandma Burrito's location.

I found a sample of the menu. I am not sure if this is the final menu but it gives us an idea. They will have sticky rice and chicken. Hence the name. Check out the menu HERE. According to what I found online this is their description of their soon-to-open location:

Sticky Chikky offers sticky rice, special oriental style chicken & hot sauce.

They are looking to open up at the end of May, if not sooner. So it's getting close. They are in the process of hiring. We know that they can't open until they have a staff. So here we go.

So there is going to be chicken, there is going to be rice, and it is going to happen in the next few weeks. That is the kind of news we like to hear. Amarillo is growing and getting new places.

That location is growing.  Amarillo and Canyon may merge into one before long. I know that will never happen but we are getting more and more places that are connecting the two cities. Growth is great.
