If you blink you will miss it. That is what we hear all the time. I feel like this speaks the truth about our summer this year. I feel like we blinked and all missed it. It seemed to just fly by and now everything is about back to school.

Now as a parent maybe you really don't feel that way at all. You may be counting down the days and you have been since your precious children got home from their last day. I get it. These days just fly by.

Amarillo has had a few back-to-school celebrations and now it is time for Canyon to get in on the fun. Not only are they getting everyone ready for that first day. They want, as a city, to encourage all the students, teachers, administrators, and even the parents.

I Heart Canyon is Wednesday Evening

The I Heart Canyon event is one that many in the community look forward to every year. It's just a time for everyone to get together for one final hurrah. Since you have probably been knee-deep in back-to-school shopping. Figuring out schedules and everything that goes with it. We just need time to relax before the hustle and bustle of next week.

I mean the whole community comes together out at Conner Park and celebrates the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. It's a fun evening of free food, inflatables, and heck they will even have horseback riding.

One last night of summer fun. It will be happening on August 10th from 6 pm to 9 pm. It's going to be a fun night.
