One Less Place in Amarillo to Get Yourself a Dog

A hot dog is what I am meaning. Once we had five Wienerschnitzel. I love their dogs. I really do. We are now taking a hit. We have only four.

I am not even sure when this happened. I mean on Google Maps it shows the location at 600 E Amarillo Blvd as temporarily closed.

It seems that is not the case anymore. Nope, they are not temporarily anything.

They are closed for good. According to Jack here is the lowdown:

I’m a manager at 45th location they closed because it was gonna be a lot to remodel non of the others are closing as far as I know

The good news is like I said there are still four other locations to get your fix of some of the best dogs in town.

• 4431 Bell Street
• 5800 W Amarillo Blvd

When one door shuts another one will open up. So maybe they will put something new in this location. If the price looks too much to be remodeled it may be an opportunity to tear this building down and start new.

There is a For Sale sign up so that is the easiest way to know this is not a temporary closing. I will say this anytime I see an open location. How about Jack in the Box? That may be a perfect location for at least one.
