In a year that it seems like we are in an Oprah Winfrey episode, "you get a coffee place, and you get a coffee place." There is more good news on the coffee front.

We first heard about Scooter's Coffe when we learned they were turning the former fire station on 34th and Western into a Scooter's. Then the rug guy got moved out of the location he held for years on the corner of 34th and Georgia. What was going into that location? A Scooter's Coffee, of course.

Amarillo isn't the only one reaping all the caffeine benefits. Nope. Hereford is joining in on all the fun. Scooters may soon be taking over the world one location at a time. Why not? It may be time for the Starbucks' empire to be knocked down a few notches.

I mean why not. There are enough caffeine-loving people in the Texas Panhandle to expand your reach. Which is exactly what Scooter's Coffee is doing.

First Amarillo, Then Hereford and Now Pampa

Congratulations to Pampa, Texas, for winning the coffee lottery. Pampa already has a couple of Starbucks and The Coffee Shop. They are adding Scooter's Coffee to the mix.

They are not open yet but the city of Pampa is already looking forward to their new addition.

I am not sure what is up with Scooter's taking over former Long John Silver's locations but both the Hereford location and now Pampa is taking over a former Long John Silver's land location.

Ok, I see a pattern here. Other Panhandle cities with vacant Long John Silver's maybe look for a Scooter's coffee to come in and build. The more coffee the better.
