We do have a lot of restaurants in Amarillo. The best part is that we get to try different types of food that we haven't had in the past. It is great to have a variety. It's the spice of life, you know?

There was one place we had to go to in the past and then poof it was gone. It's been several years. So you don't expect to ever hear from them again. This particular fan favorite surprised us all.

When my daughter was in Dallas the one thing she bragged about was Hawaiian food. I have never tried it. She said how much I needed to. So when I heard about this I know that I needed to.

Say Aloha to Aloha Kitchen's Return

They were once a food truck. They closed down around 2016 but that was not the end of them. Not the end of Hawaiian food in Amarillo. Nope. Aloha Kitchen is back. They are no longer a food truck. They are no longer in Canyon.

Those are the two major changes. They now have a sit-down place in Bushland. They are located inside "From 6th Collective", which is a location filled with a lot of nice shopping. They have a bout 50 different vendors all in one location.

It also is the location for the newly opened Aloha Kitchen. So if you have been missing out on your chance to eat Hawaiian food you don't have to anymore. They are open Thursday through Sunday. Which are the days that the shopping areas are open as well.

They serve breakfast, which is a set menu.

They also have lunch and dinner and the menu changes every week right now. Sundays they also offer a brunch menu. Their motto is "So good it will make you forget your name."

Lisa, the owner, is from Hawaii. She grew up on the big island. So she knows the food and knows it well.

Review to follow.
