Spend This Father’s Day Down On The Field At Hodgetown

We have all been missing Sod Poodles baseball so much this spring. There is just something about being out at Hodgetown with the sunshine, warm weather, smell of the food cooking, and cheering on our Soddies. So if we can't have baseball back anytime soon, at least we can still spend a nice day in the ballpark for Father's Day.

The Amarillo Sod Poodles are inviting families out to Hodgetown on June 21 for a special Father's Day event and lunch at the park. It's called "Catch on the Field" and tickets are on sale now for just $25 per person. The ticket includes a tailgate-style lunch, photos, and opportunities to have special messages on the video board. Plus bring your gloves with you to enjoy a game of catch on the same field your favorite players play on.

Two sessions are currently being offered, the first beginning at 11 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m. The sessions will last approximately 90 minutes and include time for both catch on the field and lunch at the ballpark. Lunch includes the guest’s choice of a hamburger, hot dog, or pulled pork sandwich and includes sides of chips, baked beans, potato salad, and a drink.

Tickets are on sale now and spaces will be limited. You must purchase a minimum of two tickets and group sales are available. You will required to bring your own gloves and baseballs. The staff at Hodgetown will also be practicing social distancing during the event and ask that you do so as well.
