Spicy Addition to Amarillo’s Downtown Dining With Recent Opening

It was about a year ago when downtown Amarillo lost a Joe Taco location. It was right across the street from Hodgetown and their departure left an empty building. They moved out right as the season was ending for the Sod Poodles.

The news was good for Joe Taco as they ended up with another location at 58th and Georgia. It opened not too long ago. That building that they left empty though sat that way for the 2024 Sod Poodles season.

That all changed over the weekend with the opening of Spice & Saga - 600 S Buchanan. Yes, that is the empty Joe Taco Building.

So good news there. More good news is that they are going to have a lunchtime buffet. That is good for all the people who work downtown.

I am game for anything with spice. So I am interested in trying this place out. Oh, and the description.

They have a Facebook page together with some pictures. So the food that I have seen is looking pretty good. I mean you can't go wrong with what they have listed.
