When driving near 58th and Georgia lately it was highly noticed how fast they are moving on their new projects. We have the Chick-fil-A being built. They are working on that. Then there is the other food project.

It has been a month since the Popeyes on Paramount here in Amarillo abruptly closed. It all started with again another fire. That fire caused a lot of damage and spoiled food. So it made sense that they were going to be closed.

We love pizza here in Amarillo, right? We love lots of pizza. So when I see Pizza Hut on Coulter has brought back the buffet you have to love it right? Does the Pizza Hut buffet bring back great memories? It does for me.

We're bringing back some memories with some jingles from popular Amarillo businesses that may or may not still be in business.

Advertising can make or break a company. Really. You come up with a catchy jingle and people will be singing it for days. You come up with a great marketing campaign and people will be talking about it still decades later.

While we may not see them all as we travel up and down that stretch of Coulter, the signs live on. So does the legacy they carry with them.

Are you willing to risk an accident for some chicken?

I am a fan of McDonald's hot mustard. I don't like ketchup so I use it for my fries. One day I went and ordered my regular Big Mac Meal and wanted hot mustard and I was told they don't carry it anymore.

Hopefully soon all of these projects will be wrapped up.

We're almost back to fully operational on our roadways! Question is, what project will the conjure up next?

This has been a crazy ride. Ever since the pandemic first hit and places have had to close we have been hit with staffing shortages. Many restaurants have been hit. Many are trying their darnedest to get employees in to work so that they can all operate on a normal basis.

There's still things you can blame on 2020.
