Amarillo Pizza Hut Bringing Back the Good Ol’ Days?

We love pizza here in Amarillo, right? We love lots of pizza. So when I see Pizza Hut talking about buffets again you have to love it right? Does the Pizza Hut buffet bring back great memories? It does for me.

I remember bringing my daughter to Pizza Hut on Western. Her daycare was near there. So I would sometimes pick her up from her daycare on 58th when it was Footprints. Oh, I miss that daycare too. We would drive across the street to Pizza Hut and enjoy the buffet.

I always love a good buffet. Who doesn't? Right? Then it seemed they were all gone from our local Pizza Huts. Oh, the good ol' days. Well, it seems the good ol' days are back at one Amarillo Pizza Hut. They did bring the buffet back to the Coulter location - I40 and Coulter.

They just made it a thing again. So any weekday between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm you can get your fill of pizza. I read somewhere that the salad bar was included too. I don't have any confirmation so I am thinking I need to do some investigative reporting. I mean this is a great way to go behind the scenes and test out the buffet.

This is really a dream come true for a lot of people. When I saw the post in a restaurant review group I think I may have shrieked with joy. Not only is this a thing at the Coulter location but they asked about our thoughts on bringing it to the Georgia Street location.

Yes, all day long. That selfishly is my location of choice. It is close to my house and is the one I have visited for years. So I will be keeping an eye out to see if the buffet is brought back there.

There is some good news in 2024 and Pizza Huts in Amarillo getting the buffet back at some locations is leading the way.
