Who is ready for the Tri-State Fair to hit Amarillo at the end of next week? Does it really seem like it has been a year? I know every year we get excited. I mean fair food is definitely something we need to have in our lives.

Many restaurants try to bring us fair food vibes throughout the year but is it really the same? I feel like we have to be on the fairgrounds for it to have that magical taste. We have to be on the midway with something on a stick.

The food is one thing. Then we have all of the shows. There is live music all the time. Oh, this is what the fair is all about. The music and the rodeo.

There are so many rides to enjoy as well. How much fun can we pack into all of these days? How many memories do you have of the games as well? The memories of winning a stuffed animal.

To kick off the Tri-State Fair, just like every year, we have to have to have the parade. This is how we know that fair season is actually here. Every year it seems the parade is Amarillo's way of saying it is finally time to get out and enjoy everything fair-related.

A Blast From the Past

When looking through stuff online I came across this video from Ryan Battle. It's a family video of sorts but if you fast forward to about six minutes in you will see a lot of footage from the Tri-State Fair back in the fifties.

It's great to see how some things have changed but yet how things really do stay the same. The horses, the cars, and the Tri-State Fair Parade has it all. Oh, and they have for years.

Google Answers the Top 10 Questions About Amarillo

I love Google. It can literally answer ANYTHING you need it to answer. Whether it's right or wrong is a totally different question.

Recently, I found myself wondering about something and went to Google. And that's when I started noticing the "people also asked..." section and BOY...Some of them made perfect sense, some of them were interesting, and one of them was downright baffling...and it was a top 10 question which is even more absurd.

So let's see what we've got. Here's the top 10 questions as asked to Google about Amarillo.
