Update: Two New Restaurants in Amarillo Closer to Opening
As I am driving around Amarillo I love watching the progress that places are making, especially when it comes to new businesses coming to the area. If you drive around 58th and Georgia a lot you have been watching the progress of a lot of new businesses recently.
We got to watch the McDonald's from start to finish, the Starbucks, oh, and the Chick-fil-A is coming along nicely. There is one chunk of land that has been fun to watch. Since the Joe Taco in downtown Amarillo closed down rather abruptly they did start talking about the new location at 58th and Georgia.

So we had some hope. We have one in the medical center and one in Canyon but I really am looking forward to the one at 58th and Georgia. Once the downtown location closed this is going to be the closest one to me.
The fact that they are going to have a breakfast place too is pretty exciting. I am not even a big breakfast person but I am just thinking about the breakfast burritos they better have on the menu. That is my breakfast of choice if I do end up going out. I am surprised when I go somewhere and they don't have them on the menu.
So having the OVR EZE right next to the Joe Taco is going to be a great combination. They are even getting pretty close. They are already hiring. So we are getting close.
If you haven't driven by recently you really need to. They now have their signage up.
Another step closer. Who is ready for Joe Taco and OVR EZE?
This may be our third location for Joe Taco. It's our first chance to see how well they do breakfast in that location. I can't wait.
