5 Hilarious Bad Reviews of Amarillo's Famous Landmarks

Living in Amarillo, we tend to forget about how many touristy things there are around here. I mean think about it...

Cadillac Ranch, Palo Duro Canyon, Route 66 just to name a few of the big ones.

Well, believe it or not, people come here to visit those things. The best part? Sometimes they leave reviews on sites like Yelp or Google. Those reviews can be glowing or they can be scathing. Anything goes.

So when my co-worker showed me what he found by sorting reviews by the lowest ratings first.....I knew I had to poke around for myself. I was not disappointed.

So here we are, back for round 2 of these hilariously bad reviews of some of Amarillo's biggest landmarks and area attractions.

Amarillo Landmarks: Negative Yelp Reviews

Yelp can be a strange and angry place. That's what I found out recently when I decided to sort the reviews by "lowest rating" first.

I was okay with the people upset over bad service and what not. But I came across a few reviews that, for lack of a better word, left me speechless in their scathing negative reviews on some of Amarillo's most iconic places. Prepare your self for plenty of head shaking and "I dunno" shrugs.

I'm always down for a good brain challenge. This one however got the best of me.

It's always a fun time looking up address or cities and seeing them from a satellite point of view. You start pointing out landmarks and things you recognize.

One thing you don't account for however is something looking bigger or smaller than you seemed to think it was. So we started grabbing a bunch of these satellite pictures of cities and towns around Amarillo.

As we looked at them, we thought to ourselves, "how fun would this be to actually have to GUESS what these places are?". So away we went.
