It hasn't been very long since the doors opened up for this new place in Amarillo. Mochinut on Washington really had social media talking once they finally opened their doors.

I remember joking as I made my first visit to the store about how funny it was that there was a line outside for donuts. Oh, but there was. They were definitely a different kind of donut. They had a revolving list of flavors so there was always something different to try.

They also served Boba and when they finally got their Korean hot dogs on their menu that definitely was the game-changer. You could get half hot dog and half cheese. There were several options and every one I tried was good.

Then the news came out that the owner had to move from Amarillo and the business was for sale. A little less than a year later it is for sale.

Hi! I am the owner of Mochinut in Amarillo. As we prepare to relocate to another city, I find myself in the position of selling my business promptly. If this kind of Korean donut shop business interests you, please reach out. I'd be delighted to discuss further details.
Have a nice day!
I had seen posts about it being for sale for several weeks but never saw if anyone bought it. Apparently, it has been sold. Mochinut is no longer in Amarillo. Never fear though you can still get those great Korean Dogs.
They still have the Boba tea on their menu.
They kept the best two things about Mochinut and have added them to their menu with breakfast items as well. Nothing beats a good Kolache.
So we may have lost Mochinut but we do have Tasty Hot Dog to take it's place. You can try them out at 1915 S Washington.
