The Brunch Truck has been a staple in downtown Amarillo for a few years. They are making the move to their restaurant location. This has always been the plan according to owner Paul Olivarez.

If you sit down and have a chat with owner Paul you will feel you are long lost friends from the beginning. You will also see his passion for what he does on a daily basis and that is bringing great food to Amarillo.

Paul was in the corporate world for many, many years and during the pandemic decided that it was time to branch out. He got property and always had planned on moving into a restaurant location. He started small with The Brunch Truck and was overwhelmed by all of the support and love that Amarillo has shown him.

He is famous for having great food. Also, he is famous for having great vegan food. Some great recipes he came up with to keep his daughters happy and fed over the years.

Anything on the menu (except El Pastor) can be made vegan. Before you turn your nose up to anything vegan on his menu try it. I bet you won't be able to tell the difference. It's that good.

After a few years of having strictly a food truck location, the time has come to move indoors. They now have a restaurant location that you don't have to travel far from where you normally go to enjoy their great food. Their restaurant, The Brunch Truck Cafe, is right there where their food truck has been - 213 SW 7th.

You can now go inside and have a seat. You can place your order for food and even a drink to relax. They have had a soft opening for a couple of weeks. They got more staff hired and now they are ready for the grand opening.
