You are not having a very good month when you start appearing in multiple social media posts. Or maybe in this day and age that is exactly what you want. Maybe this is your fifteen minutes of fame.

Not necessarily the way I would go. Hey, but that is me. I noticed this story out of our great Amarillo. A woman was wanted for an attack with a deadly weapon. Ok, nothing too crazy here. Until you notice that the weapon was a 2X4. That in itself is pretty interesting.

I just let that go. I didn't know this lady so there was nothing for me to add or help with this story.

I thought that was the end of that. Until it wasn't and over the weekend I see this lady pop up on social media again. She has a mugshot. Maybe this has to do with the whole 2X4 thing. I don't see any mention of that.

Are these new charges? Is this somehow tied in with the last one? I don't know. If you follow any of the mugshot pages in the area you probably saw her mugshot as well.

Her charges were nothing serious and both came with fines:

Of course, as social media goes once a mugshot is posted people have to chime in. One comment mentioned the 2X4 incident by saying they don't think she whacked anyone this time though.

So I wasn't the only one who knew exactly who this mugshot was of and what she was wanted for before. Good ol' Amarillo.

When another mugshot page posted it they included the "I guess the whole 2X4 situation was handled. Again you can't do anything in this town without everyone knowing.
Welcome to Amarillo.

My my my! These are some happy campers.

You'd think having your mugshot taken would be far from one of your finer moments.....but these inmates prove that you can always turn that frown upside down.
