The fair is right around the corner, which means it's time for the Tri-State Fair Parade!

Every year, people across the Texas Panhandle celebrate the changing of seasons and welcome in the fall time by attending the Tri-State Fair. The unofficial kick-off to the fair is always the fair parade.

The Tri-State Fair Parade has been a beloved tradition for families since 1923. All the fair sponsors and local business dress up their cars, trucks, and build floats to walk down the streets of downtown to celebrate another year.

If you and your family would like to attend the Tri-State Fair Parade, here is all the info you need!

Where?: Polk street in Downtown Amarillo.

When?: The parade will be on Saturday September 17th starting at 10 a.m.

What Should I Bring?: You can bring lawn chairs if you arrive early. Jackets and blankets if weather calls for it. Plastic bag for candy and goodies from floats.
