The good ol' days. We all talk about missing those good ol' days, right? Things were simpler. Things were more laid back. We had it all even though we really didn't have a lot. It was ok. We didn't know that we were missing anything and that was the way we liked it.

We had restaurants. We had buffets. We had video games while we were waiting for our food. Sometimes we had all of that in one place. The Pizza Hut. I remember going to the Hut in Canyon and sitting and playing Mrs. Pac-Man on a tabletop game while waiting for our food.

Pizza Hut used to also have buffets. Man, I am not even sure when those went away. I know I took my daughter to the one on Western near the Canyon E-Way when I would pick her up from daycare. We would grab pizza from their buffet. Then for whatever reason they were gone.

No more Pizza Hut buffets. Until earlier this year, the location on I40 and Coulter was the first to bring back the greatness. That happened in March. Then I made a stop in the Pizza Hut on Georgia Street where I saw that they were taking votes about adding a buffet to that location as well.

While I was there I voiced my opinion to Brittany the store operator and she said that she was actually just getting into a meeting to discuss that topic. So I am definitely all for a buffet at the Georgia Street Pizza Hut because that is the one I go to. It's in my neighborhood.

Then after that discussion, nothing for a bit. Until I saw something as I drove by the other day.

The deliciousness that is the buffet is coming to the Georgia Street location. That includes all of the pizza, the breadsticks, the salad, and of course the pasta. It's happening and soon. So I will keep an eye out and make sure I stop by and enjoy the good ol' days again at Pizza Hut.

Can we get a tabletop Mrs. Pac-Man game too?

The streets of Amarillo have changed a lot. Georgia Street used to be the place to buy a car. Now it has everything.
