Another New Restaurant Brings Life to Amarillo’s Sixth Street
Oh, Amarillo sometimes you try to sneak one over on me. Finding new places to eat in Amarillo brings me such joy. Really it does. I really try to find out about places before they open. Sometimes that just doesn't happen. Sometimes you find a way to surprise me. Well played.
That was the case for a new restaurant that has opened on Sixth Street. How did I not hear about Marisco's El Big Boy Mexican Restaurant? I mean they are exactly the type of restaurant I would love.

First, they are a Mexican restaurant. So score. Second, they are basically a seafood Mexican restaurant. Even better. They do have tacos and other Mexican food staples but if you love seafood you will be in heaven. Oh, and third, they are on Sixth Street so what is not to love?
Who Moved Into Sixth Street Recently?
After doing some research. Oh, and driving by I discovered this new place called Marisco's El Big Boy Mexican Restaurant. They moved into the former location of Venezia, which wasn't there very long. Trail Boss was there too for a while. It was originally a garage for many years.
In the mood for a good seafood boil? Oh, yeah they have that for you. Plus they have a nice patio to relax with a cold beer and live music. I am really looking forward to stopping by and trying this place out.
I am liking the menu already:
So that is next on my to-do list. To stop by and give them a try. A review will follow. To be continued.......
