Get Ready, Amarillo! New Restaurant Opening Its Doors Next Week

Oh to get new blood in this town of Amarillo. We really look forward to new things opening. As I drive around Amarillo I like to take in my surroundings and notice the new places that we get.

One that is in my neighborhood and I have been watching for a while is Cellar 55. It is on Civic Circle and will be officially opening up next week. They have had a countdown on their Facebook page.

They are currently hosting their soft opening and getting the kitchen staff and waitstaff ready to go. They are working out issues, if any, now. They want to be ready for us next week.

Cellar 55 is moving into the former location of Copper Fire. I have seen a few reviews from those attending the soft opening and nothing but praise so far. So this could be good for Amarillo.

Looking at the menu for Cellar 55 they have appetizers like blackened steak bites, calamari, and a tuna tower. They have soups and salads for those looking for something a little lighter.

They have sandwiches and burgers. Their sandwiches consist of a French dip, cheesesteak, a lobster roll, a couple of different wraps, or a Smashburger.

Of course, this is Texas so they also have a chicken fried steak and plenty of steaks to choose from. There is also a nice selection of seafood as well. So overall there is definitely something for everyone.

The countdown is officially on and the newest restaurant is about to officially open. So Amarillo, get ready to welcome them to the neighborhood.
