One of the things you don't really think about doing during the holiday season is swimming. I mean there are not a lot of opportunities to do that around Amarillo. I mean unless you have access to an indoor pool or a heated one.

I love swimming. I would swim all year long if I could. I grew up with that being my favorite activity. I always hated it when pool season was over. So when I found a chance in Amarillo to make a fun holiday event out of it I thought this was perfect.

Why not bring the family out to swim in an indoor pool and watch a holiday movie? What could be more fun than that? Oh, and the price is family-friendly. It will only cost a family twenty dollars. That will get up to six family members in.

So super affordable. That is what we are all looking for this holiday season. We are on the hunt for family fun that will not break the bank and that is what Amarillo Parks and Recreation is hosting.

It will be happening out at The Warford Activity Center on December 8th. The movie will be starting at 7:30 pm and they will be showing a holiday family fun movie. "How the Grinch Stole Chrismas" will be the movie of choice.

So it will be a perfect night for the family to do something different this holiday season. All you have to do is grab a swimsuit, and towel and get registered HERE.
