Discovery Center’s Exciting Labor Day Camp: A Day of Adventure

A lot of us are looking forward to Labor Day weekend. We are looking forward to that last hoorah of summer. We might be looking to get out of town. We may just want to spend those three days having fun with our family.

Heck, we may just want those three days to relax. That is if you get a three-day weekend. Not everyone does. Some people have to work Labor Day weekend. I mean look around Amarillo. There are stores that are open. There are of course restaurants. People need to get stuff inside convenience stores. There are hospitals and of course the police and fire departments.

So there are a lot of people working. What do those parents do with their kiddos? What if they don't have family to help out? I never did. So really what do you do? You know that the schools are not open. You know that daycares will be closed as well.

Parents have to have someone and somewhere to bring them. That is why this camp at the Discovery Center could be a lifesaver. They will be open on Labor Day to help out those families. Or any family that is just looking for something fun for the kiddos. A Labor Day Camp.
