It seems that every year or two, something new becomes "all the new rage" or so they say.

Well, here we are in 2022 and we've got that thing that's all the new rage and it started last year.

Maybe you've heard of it, it's called Meow Wolf. I first learned about it from my in-laws. They were making a trip to New Mexico where they were going to meet up with us for my son's baseball tourney there.

They mentioned they had tickets to go to Meow Wolf on their way here, so they would be making a stop for that. I had no idea what Meow Wolf was. I thought it was a strange name and one of those "off the highway" attractions you stop at. Truthfully, I thought it was some animal exhibit of wolves that were hybrid cats. I know, silly me.

I decided to do a little homework on it, and I gotta tell ya I was jealous of what they were going to be able to experience. All these different interactive things to do and just whimsical adventures they'd be a part of.

I no longer have to be jealous, because Meow Wolf is coming to Texas! They recently announced two different locations that will be opening within the next couple of years, and I can't wait.

Grapevine Mills will get the first permanent "portal" as they call it in 2023. Another one will be opening in Houston in the Fifth Ward community in 2024. The CEO of Meow Wolf said that Texas is going to be a key part of their next expansion phase, so there's a chance we may get even more.
