Recent rains have found their way to Lake Meredith.

Things were certainly different at Lake Meredith a few short years ago.  After a couple years of average rain and one well above average, water levels at the lake have risen.  The opportunity to enjoy the recreational pleasures the lake has to offer hasn’t been this good in several years.

Too bad the season just ended.

Right now the lake is at a depth of 68.11 feet and that represents 187,980 acre feet of water.  Doubtful we will see a record depth anytime soon which was 101.85 feet in April of 1973.  But we’re far from the record low, set in August of 2013 at 26.14 feet.
