Amarillo loves the news that we have a new place to try out. Especially when the news hits our sweet tooth just the right way. Over the weekend a new place to get a delicious cookie or two has opened up.

Dirty Dough in Western Crossings next to Crackin' Crab. They had a hiring event back in July. Which meant their opening was getting closer. Well, the time is here. This is not a drill.

Late last week Dirty Dough opened their doors. This is still their soft opening phase. I was chatting with owner, Jesse Carter, the grand opening is still to come. They are planning for that one to happen in mid-September. There will be free cookies that day. So yeah keep an eye out for that.

This is not a regular cookie. They are delicious-ness inside of a cookie. Anyone with a sweet tooth is going to be set.  You may wonder what sets Dirty Dough apart from any other cookie business. Well according to their website:

Other guys have cookies. Dirty Dough has super-stuffed cookie bombs!

You won’t find a thicker, softer, more gooey or flavorful cookie than the ones from Dirty Dough. The “Dirty” refers to all of the fillings, mix-ins and layers that go into our special cookie process.

Just imagine biting into a cookie with all the stuffings and all the mix-ins right inside. Sounds pretty heavenly if you ask me. Jesse assured me that they do have more than just cookies even though that is enough if you ask me.

Dirty Dough also sells shakes, sundaes, and Dirty Drinks. If you wonder what a dirty drink is they are the ones with snowcone flavors and sweet cream flavors in your choice of soda. So you will need to try them out.

So if you are ready, they are ready to serve you as well. Go visit Dirty Doug in Western Crossings.
