Amarillo Restaurant Closing and Making Major Changes

The thought was that maybe Amarillo was about to slow down a bit with all of the openings and closings. I mean just for a few days. It would be nice to give us some time to try to digest everything that has come and gone in the past few months. It's been a bit of a whirlwind.

Oh, no that pause was not going to happen at all. Luckily, the latest to close is giving us a warning. Not only that, they are also eliminating the guessing game when it comes to what might move into the building next. They are answering that for us as well.

The End of Butterlove Biscuits?

The news came out recently that Butterlove Biscuit was saying goodbye to Amarillo. Their last day will be August 11th. So there is still some time to go in for a great brunch. The owner, Deanna Hurt, decided that it is time to expand. At one point they thought about keeping the brunch concept and adding a dinner one as well.

The decision has now been made that doing so was just not feasible. They decided to say goodbye to Butterlove Biscuits. The next step should be happening soon and we will be able to say hello to Butterlove Dinnerhourse. They are keeping the Butterlove name.

That is a lot to take in. The good news is that this is not another restaurant closing because of a lack of business. This is a place that is changing with the times and expanding. They see an opportunity and they are taking it.

Make sure you stop by this week and give some love to Butterlove Biscuits and get ready to say hello to Butterlove Dinnerhouse. They are expecting the new concept to open in the next five to six weeks.
