Finally Amarillo’s HomeGoods Store Has Opening in Sight

Everyone has been excited once word got around that we were getting a HomeGoods in Amarillo. I had been lobbying for a location in Amarillo long before we got a hint that it might be coming to our area.

I love HomeGoods. It is always our stop in the Dallas area when my daughter moves. We are always able to get anything we need for her new place at one stop, HomeGoods. So I knew we needed one here. Coldwell Banker's originally gave us the hope that we would be getting one.

Every time I reached out to their media people with any questions about  the Amarillo location I would always get the same response:

Thank You for following up. Although we appreciate your inquiry, HomeGoods has not announced a new store in Amarillo, TX at this time.

So when I heard the rumors that HomeGoods is getting closer to opening I dreaded reaching out and asking if the date I heard was accurate. I didn't want to get the runaround. I mean we are no longer in the stages that the standard response would work, especially when the signs are there.

Again they are hiring so they can't ignore the fact that they are coming.

So luckily I was able to confirm without reaching out and waiting for a response. Finally, the good news that we were waiting for is on their website for everyone to see.

So yes, the rumors are true. The opening date is slated for Thursday, October 17th. We are less than a month away from shopping greatness. I know I am really excited about this one. Finally, a place to shop in Amarillo that I usually have to save for my trips to Dallas.

I really can't wait for HomeGoods to open in Amarillo. October 17th is the date.
