Free Financial Literacy Classes Being Offered In Amarillo

One of the biggest challenges we faced in Amarillo in 2023, and are still facing in 2024 is the economy. The rising costs of nearly everything but not rising salaries to go with it have made life a little tighter and tougher to get through.

Well if you're one of the thousands of people that struggle with financial literacy and how to get the most out of your money, you're in luck.

Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas is offering up free financial literacy classes around Amarillo and Lubbock that are aimed at truly helping you understand money. The series will kick off on January 23rd and it'll be a six-week long course.

Things you'll learn about in the series will consist of analyzing your credit report, enhancing money values and influences, protecting your identity, managing debt, and creating a plan for spending and saving.

It doesn't matter how much money you're making, these tips and tricks will help anyone be able to live a bit more comfortably as well as be able to plan for things such as money emergencies down the road.
