When I think of July I think of two things. OK, one is pretty selfish and that is my birthday. That birthday always falls around the same time as one of the biggest parties of the summer. The Harley Party.

Family Support Service throws one heck of a party each and every summer. The best part is someone can leave there winning a 2023 Harley-Davidson Breakout 117 or choosing the $15,000 Visa Gift Card. Regardless someone's life is going to change.

It's a reverse drawing which becomes a lot of fun when we get to the final rounds. I have called numbers for several years and it's always a lot of fun. The anticipation. Who is going to win? Oh, but before all of that, the party is always just a lot of fun. This is going to be their twenty-eighth party so let's just say they know how to throw the party of the summer.

I remember when the party was on the grounds of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce. Now they are moved indoors. So there will be no weather-related issues. We can't blame the extreme heat or even rain. No, they think of everything. The party is in the air conditioning of the Amarillo National Center on the Tri-State Fairgrounds.

So get your tickets HERE and be ready for a cool time with a chance to drive off with a Harley and help out Family Support Services. Just one more reason and get out for a fun night in Amarillo.
