Another Amarillo Business Swiftly Closes It’s Doors Recently

It seems like 2024 has been the year of closed businesses in Amarillo. This is not the kind of thing we want to see. There have been restaurants that have quickly closed their doors. Oh, and there have been stores as well. What is going on this year?

Has this just been a really tough year? Or have these just been happening just too close together that we are taking notice? Either way, Amarillo has just lost another business in our area. If you spend any time at Wolflin Square you may have already noticed.

Both Et Cetera and Et Cetera Child have closed. We saw someone on Facebook post about the closing and decided to drive by to check it out for ourselves. Yes, the stores are both empty with notes posted on the door.

When the news was first discovered the first stop was on Google to check out their listing. The confusing part was that it just casually said they were temporarily closed. So at first, we thought maybe this was a temporary thing. I mean Google can't be wrong, can it?

Apparently, they can. Driving by you will notice just how empty the stores both are and the sign that says permanent. Yep, this is the reality. Another Amarillo store has closed. They actually left a number to text with any questions. Not many businesses do that. So there is a way to communicate with them.

Just know if you are looking for that one-of-a-kind gift or special something for the house there seem to be fewer places in Amarillo to shop. Can we just slow down a bit 2024?
