Fresh Flavors Await: Amarillo's Newest Dining Destination is Here

In Amarillo we have our favorites. We also love to try new places. We love to have a new place to add to the mix of our every day places to stop. So I was watching on Facebook about an already favorite in Amarillo getting a new place.

OK, I had to reach out and see if what I read was true. I heard that Pizzeria Nomad was getting an added location. Oh, and they are, sorta. Yes, it's a new location to get their delicious pizza which is exciting.

Ever since Moondoggy's closed a few years ago we were missing a pizza location in the downtown area. Not anymore. On Monday we will be getting that place we need. Straight from the people from Pizzeria Nomad:

We are opening a second location on 9/25 (Monday). This location, on 614 S Polk St, will be called Nomad Napoletana. We have a beautiful wood burning oven and pizza kitchen in the front of the building and bar area so that patrons can enjoy watching our Pizzaiolos craft gourmet Naples-style pizza. Our drink menu is fully stocked with beer, cocktails and wine.

They are moving into the former Charlee's location on Polk. Just a few spots down from where Moondoggy's was located. They will be open starting Monday from 11 am until 9 pm. They will be closed on Sunday's.

If you work downtown or just need a quick lunch they will have you covered there as well. They will be offering a quick service lunch special from 11 am until 2 pm with their $5 slices of pizza.

This is something that Amarillo needs so get ready.
