Fresh Greens Galore: Amarillo Welcomes Delicious New Salad Haven

We have a lot of good places to eat in Amarillo. The best thing is it seems we get new places often. So if you don't have a favorite go-to yet, just wait. We have a bit of everything to try.

Amarillo has it's share of not-so-healthy places to eat. You want a greasy burger? No problem. You want some of the best pizza in town. Yep, we have that too. We have even branched out to get several healthy places too. I remember back when Eat Rite was pretty much our only healthy choice.

Boy have the times changed. If healthy is what you are looking for you have several choices. In fact, we are adding a new place to the mix. They have had a few days of soft openings to make sure they were ready but here it is.

Officially opening for business to the public today is Salad Barn. Now don't worry they are more than lettuce. That is what their site says. So if you want a salad they do have you covered. If you want something more they have that too.

They finally shared their menu and yes, they have more than just salads. They can turn any salad on their menu into a hot or cold wrap.

They also have smoothies and juices for that healthy option as well. They are located in the former Clean Juice location on Coulter - 5215 Coulter St. So at least we were able to swap out one healthy place for another one.

Amarillo is ready to try this new location. There are some times we just want a salad. I know I do. Oh, and to know we could turn it into a wrap as well. Yep, I am looking forward to this.
