The countdown is on. The days are getting few and far between - from now until Christmas. It is getting to crunch time. I mean you have shopping to do. It can be a stressful time but why not make a fun time out of it?

You can do just that. Grab the girls and shop until you drop. The Gals in the Garden are back to help make a fun day of Christmas shopping. The event is called Gifts for Gals and it is happening this weekend.

Sunday, December 9th from 12 pm until 5 pm they will be there to help you get that last-minute shopping marked off of your list. The sale will be happening at The Derrick - 814 S Taylor in downtown Amarillo.

What fun is shopping with your girlfriends? They are making this a great time for all.

We're giving you half a day to check everything off of your list, while sipping on a coffee in one hand and a cocktail in the other. Of course, the food trucks will be ready for you too! And our jazz band is busy learning all of your favorite Christmas songs.

This is tailored for that last-minute shopper who just has to get it all done. Santa will be there to greet you and help you on your way.

We have wrangled up the best of the best makers in this town to provide you with a selection of the most unique and customizable gifts you could ever dream of.
Do you have an aunt that would love a custom ornament for her tree? We've got you covered.
Would your charcuterie loving friend light up when she finds a jar of fresh jam in her stocking? Well, you'll have plenty of flavors to choose from!
Would your grandma get teary-eyed, opening a box containing a gorgeous handmade quilt? Wouldn't want to miss that opportunity!
So there is no excuse for not having your shopping done this weekend. Then all you have to do is get to wrapping. Grab a glass of wine for that too.
