Wolflin Finally Has New Choice for Sushi in Amarillo

I am all about Sushi. I taught my daughter at an early age to love sushi. I know looking back that probably wasn't the smartest idea. I mean sushi can be pricy. Hey, I know that she does have great taste. So I guess I won there.

When she was growing up we had to drive to get good sushi. I know this is Amarillo and pretty much everything is a pretty fast drive. We didn't have many places in our neighborhood for sushi. She grew up in the Wolflin area. So we had to drive for sushi. So we did.

Recently we have had sushi added to our area. We would pick some up at Market Street. Really they have good sushi. Don't knock it until you have tried it. We have and love it. We also got Sushi House in the area. Wolflin is looking up.

Over the weekend we finally got word that a new place finally opened. I am talking about Oishii Japenese Sushi and Sake. They took over for Embers Steakhouse. Oh, and for those who have been around for a bit, they took over for David's Steakhouse.

They are right by Market Street United and are finally open. They officially opened on Sunday for lunch.

I am really excited about this one because it is so close to my house. Oh, and the fact that I love sushi doesn't hurt at all.

So I know how crazy it gets when a new restaurant opens but with all the rain and flooding we have had in the area we need to support all of the places in the area. Come try a new place for sushi.
